U.S. court rules that AI-created works without human involvement can't be copyrighted
March 19, 2011 - According to Reuters, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ruled on Tuesday, local time, that AI-created works that do not involve human beings are not eligible for copyright protection.
