When users start typing a text-to-image prompt in a chat with Meta AI, they’ll see how the image changes as they add more details about what they want to create. In the example shared by Meta, a user typed in the prompt: “Imagine a soccer game on Mars.” The resulting image quickly changed from typical soccer players to showing an entire soccer field on a Martian landscape. If users have beta access, they can try out the feature by opening a chat with Meta AI and then starting a prompt with the word “Imagine.” Additionally, Meta AI will be able to create a new image using the word “Imagine.”

Google admitted on Friday that its artificial intelligence tool Gemini made an error in generating images of historical figures, causing the images to show significant racial bias. Earlier this week, media outlets discovered that Gemini was generating images of Nazis and U.S. Founding Fathers of different races.
