On December 12, the Beijing Internet Court formed a five-member panel for the first time to publicly hear the country's first "AI voice infringement case" in accordance with the law. The plaintiff Yin Moumou is a dubbing professional and has recorded many audio works. Yin Moumou accidentally discovered that his voice was AI-ized and sold on an APP called "Magic Sound Workshop" under the name of "Magic Xiaoxuan". Therefore, Yin Moumou sued the five defendants, including Beijing Xiaowen Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., the operating entity of "Magic Sound Workshop", to the Beijing Internet Court on the grounds that the defendants' actions infringed his voice rights.
