According to the U.S. "Atlantic" magazine reported on March 10, the U.S. government is promoting a led by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) program, aimed at generative AI to reform the work of civil servants. The core aim of the program is to improve the overall efficiency of government work by replacing manual labor with automation. 200 experts write report: AI development may pose an "extinction-level threat" to humans
The U.S. State Department has commissioned a new report warning that AI is advancing exponentially and could pose an “extinction-level threat” to humanity. The report, called “Action Plan to Improve the Safety of Advanced Artificial Intelligence,” requires the U.S. government to act quickly and decisively to avoid significant national security risks posed by AI.
