Universal Music Group announced yesterday that it has reached a cooperation with AI company SoundLabs. Artists and producers signed by Universal Music will be able to use SoundLabs' AI plug-in MicDrop. MicDrop is an AI vocal plug-in that is trained using the artist's own sound data to create an official high-fidelity vocal model while retaining the artist's control over ownership, allowing the artist to fully approve and control the output of artistic content.
