Meta has shut down its much-anticipated celebrity AI chatbot feature, The Information reports. These chatbots allowed users to converse with AI that mimicked celebrity personalities and were a highlight of last September's Meta Connect conference. Meta on Monday launched AI Studio, a tool that allows American creators to build their own AI chatbots. Judging from Meta's official statement, the company seems to prefer this user-generated approach rather than the previously carefully crafted celebrity chatbots.
