The Japanese government and companies invested 2.9 billion yen in AI translation startups to increase comic exports and combat piracy
According to reports from the Nihon Keizai Shimbun and NAMITEN, a new government-enterprise cooperation plan has been launched: through AI translation, the export volume of Japanese comics will more than double to 50,000 in five years.
