Sources say Microsoft has pulled employees from Teams and other departments to form a specialized team to push Copilot forward.

On April 4, Business Insider disclosed an internal Microsoft memo revealing that Microsoft is building a dedicated team within the company that will be responsible for advancing the subsequent development of Copilot and its related products.
The memo, written by Jared Spataro, Microsoft's vice president of artificial intelligence efforts, says that it plans to restructure the existing Teams division staff, pulling employees to join this new Copilot team in addition to making appropriate layoffs. (Source: IT Home)
