Google launches TacticAI, a soccer tactical AI assistant. The system is able to provide tactical insights to experts through predictive and generative AI, and excels especially in corner kicks. After a collaborative evaluation with Liverpool Football Club, Google found that TacticAI's suggestions were recognized by human expert evaluators in 90% situations. The results have been published in Nature Communications' Nature sub-journal.
