Lilian Weng, OpenAI's VP of Security Research, sent a long letter announcing his departure from the company as the OpenAI security team continues to fall apart, saying that he finally has time to write more blogs. Weng received his undergraduate degree from Peking University, where he majored in Information Systems and Computer Science, and received his PhD from Indiana University Bloomington after a short exchange program at the University of Hong Kong.
