MicrosoftRecently announced that it will invest $2.2 billion over the next four years to supportMalaysiadigital transformation since the company entered MalaysiamaximumSingle investment.
Microsoft's investments include:
- Building cloud and AI infrastructure in Malaysia.
- Providing AI skills training opportunities to an additional 200,000 Malaysians.
- Strengthen collaboration with the Malaysian government to establish a national AI Center of Excellence and enhance Malaysia’s cybersecurity capabilities.
- Support the development of the programmer developer community in Malaysia.
These investments demonstrate Microsoft’s commitment to developing Malaysia into a hub for cloud computing and related technologies, including generative AI, which will enhance Malaysia’s productivity, competitiveness, resilience and economic growth.
