This chapter focuses on a few scenes that I really liked, but didn't know how to categorize.
But after I wrote this chapter, I realized that they're all good for cashing in on, like making physical goods or something 😂
sticker
I don't know if anyone is in the same habit as me of liking to buy stickers for laptops. A certain treasure is awesome, but I hope that something more non-mainstream, there are some can not meet my needs, so I thought of letting AI to help me draw some, the following stormtroopers and Darth Vader as an example, write a set of prompt:
|
Prompt |
explain |
What is the type? |
sticker |
Make a sticker |
What is the subject? |
Stormtrooper, cute |
Stormtrooper Q |
What is the environment like? |
null |
Not important, let AI play freely |
What is the composition like? |
null |

What is the shooting medium? |
null |
Not important, let AI play freely |
What style? |
vector |
In view of the time-printing, a vector is added. |
parameter |
null |
No parameters were added |
The generated result looks like this, and you'll notice that it's just an extra white border, and it's vector style (I think it's good for a certain kind of friend):
papercutting (Chinese folk art)
I really like the layered paper cutting style (what should I call it in Chinese? I only know that in English it is called layered paper art), but it is quite difficult to draw it out, so I thought I would try it with AI:
|
Prompt |
explain |
What is the type? |
layered paper art |
multilayer silhouette |
What is the subject? |
Death Star, shadowbox, volumetric lighting. |
The Death Star from Star Wars, but I didn't want to just simply get a silhouette, I wanted to make one of those silhouette products with a light that I always see at one of the stores, so I added a two words behind it, one meaning it's a silhouette box, and the other with a light |

The result generated with the above mentioned prompt is pretty good, but if you look at the 3rd of the 4 images on the left below, you'll see that the ball in the frame is very unrealistic and not the kind of 2D stacked silhouette I was looking for, the 2nd and 4th ones are more like what I was looking for, with modifications and the addition of a diorama (2D planar image).
voilà~ The effect is much better after adding it (4 pictures on the right), it's so beautiful, I hope it's available in some stores:
(postage) stamp
I don't know if you guys still know about things like stamps, it's 2023 and I'm still in the habit of collecting stamps, so I was thinking that generating stamps with AI would probably be fun, so I gave it a try and asked AI to make a couple of vintage Star Wars stamps:
|
Prompt |
explain |
What is the type? |
vintage postage stamp |
Vintage Stamps |
What is the subject? |
Stormtrooper, red ink. |
Continuing with the Stormtrooper and Darth Vader example. Then I specified the color of the stamps to be red |

What is the composition like? |

What is the shooting medium? |

Not important, let AI play freely |
What style? |
line engraving, intaglio |
The traditional stamp process back in the day was master printing, usually in that line-engraving, printmaking style, so I've added those two key words here, one referring to line-engraving and one referring to printmaking. |

The final image generated is nothing short of art:
playbill
Finally, some poster practices are presented:
|
Prompt |

What style? |
studio ghibli, retro anime |
I'm trying to get AI to make a Studio Ghibli vintage manga style poster. |

Poster doesn't just mean movie poster, you can also use it for advertising poster. For advertising posters, just change the type. However, it is important to note that advertising posters need other elements to reflect the "advertisement", and it is not the case that the addition of advertising makes it an advertisement.
|
Prompt |
explain |
What is the type? |

Advertisement Poster |
What is the subject? |
Darth Vader points his finger at the viewer |

Tip 17: See someone else's picture and wonder what its prompt is!
The easiest way, of course, is to just ask.
If you can't ask, there are some tools you can use.Midjourney Support image to prompt function. The method is very simple. The first step is to type /describe in the input box:
After clicking describe, a pop-up will appear to add a file, upload the file, and click enter.
Midjourney will return the results, click the 1,2,3,4 buttons below the image, you can directly send a prompt to bot to generate the image, on the right is the image generated with #1 and #4 prompt respectively, I think it should be good to use it to explore the composition, subject and style of the original image, but don't anticipate that you can generate an identical image:
