OpenAI The company announced today that for all ChatGPT Plus subscribersOpen "Memory" functionThis allows ChatGPT to remember what users have discussed in a chat and avoid repeating information.
Users can control what ChatGPT remembers by giving ChatGPT explicit instructions to remember specific content, as well as by asking ChatGPT "what did you remember". -
You mention that you have a toddler who loves jellyfish. When you asked ChatGPT to help her make a birthday card, it suggested a jellyfish wearing a party hat.
-
As a kindergarten teacher with 25 students, you prefer 50-minute lessons and follow-up activities.ChatGPT keeps this in mind when helping you create lesson plans.
In a press release issued today, OpenAI said that ChatGPT can now tell users when it's appropriate to update their "memories" compared to earlier beta versions. Users can manage what ChatGPT remembers by looking at what the chatbot is picking up from conversations, and even tell ChatGPT to "forget" unwanted details.
