AI computingStartups FlexAI recently announced that it received $30 million in seed funding to officially come out of stealth mode. The company was founded last year and the team includes former employees from Apple, Intel, NVIDIA and Tesla. Paris-based FlexAI seeks to disrupt the infrastructure market with its on-demand cloud services.

The round was led by Alpha Intelligence Capital, Elaia Partners, and Heartcore Capital, with participation from Bpifrance, Frst Capital, Motier Ventures, Partech, and InstaDeep CEO Karim Beguir. FlexAI plans to launch later this year.The firstThe commercial offering, a cloud service that connects developers to virtual computing, lets users run workloads on a variety of architectures, including AWS, AMD, and Nvidia.Flex wants developers to be able to train their models faster and cheaper than traditional GPU clusters.
