Blogger Tibor Blaho revealed on Twitter ChatGPT New features and improvements are coming soon. Although specific information about GPT-5 has not yet been made public, OpenAI is clearly preparing for the next step in the development of ChatGPT.
New user interface:
- The interface will be optimized and some elements will be hidden or redesigned.
- The sidebar will be removed and replaced with a drop-down menu to display the conversation history.
- The account and settings menu will move to the upper right corner of the interface, accessible by clicking the avatar icon.
- The model selector will be moved to the message input area.
Audio Mode:
- Added a sound button in the top navigation to enable voice mode.
- Users can start and stop conversations, making the interaction more natural.
Custom GPT (Gizmos):
- Allows non-paying users to create and interact with custom GPTs.
- Introduced Gizmo intentions and instruction blocks, as well as save state functionality, for storing user-defined GPT data.
Model Updates:
- GPT-3.5 will add browsing and vision capabilities (Sahara-V).
- Released GPT-4Lite version (Scallion; POR).
- Dynamic model switcher and model adjuster, and dynamically regenerate model selector.
- Automatically upgrade responses for free users from GPT-3.5 to GPT-4.
Writing tools (Jidori):
- Jidori focuses on writing and rewriting, offering more granular control over prompts.
- Leverage the ProseMirror open source project to introduce a new editor/input interface.
Contextual Connectors:
- Allows connection to Google Drive, Google Docs, Microsoft 365, and Notion.
- Users can upload documents, files or folders for analysis and search.
- Includes citation card and document parsers, and a contextual connector selector.
Browsing and data analysis tools:
- Provides Citations/web attributions functionality for custom GPT.
- Parallel browsing (gpt-4-pbrowse) and research tools.
- Data Analysis V2 (Graphite) includes the new gpt-4-ada-v2 version, the data grid and editor, as well as the chart studio and interactive visualization tools.
Chat Sonic – SNC (SearchGPT):
- Integration with Bing (POR), Sydney and Fortis search engines.
- The model GPT-4Lite is used and the internal search (Labrador) function is provided.
- Includes image search, and conservative or aggressive robot mode.
- Widget functions include weather, calculator, sports (schedules, standings, NBA), finance, time zone differences, etc.
