According to Bloomberg,U.K.A draft AI regulation bill is currently being drafted to further strengthen the supervision of AI models such as GPT-4.Ensure that the development of AI is under control and does not cause potential harm to humans.
The UK Department of Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) has begun drafting relevant bills, which may be published as early as the end of 2024 or announced at an artificial intelligence conference in France in early 2025.
The UK has previously taken a cautious approach to AI. At the first World Leaders’ AI Summit held last year, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said that countries should not "rush to regulate" AI.
However, officials from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and the DSIT have been pushing for changes to UK copyright law to protect content creators from having their content scraped by AI models.
