Dr. Wu has authored or co-authored more than 200 research papers on machine learning, robotics, and other related fields, bringing deep insights to a range of emerging technologies. The addition of Andrew Ng will give the Board a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges, social changes, and business potential brought by AI.

He received a triple degree in computer science, statistics and economics from Carnegie Mellon University in 1997, a master's degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1998, and a doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley in 2002.
