Ant GroupSelf-developed intelligent R&D platform CodeFuse Launched a new feature called "Graphics to Code" to support developers to use product design graphicsGenerate code with one click, which greatly improves the development efficiency of front-end pages. Currently, related functions are under internal testing.
It is reported that Ant Group is promoting AI programming internally.More than 50% of engineers use CodeFuse to support their daily R&D work, and 10% of the code submitted by these engineers is generated by AI.
Currently, more than 50% of programmers at Ant Financial use CodeFuse in their daily R&D every week. The overall adoption rate of the code generated by CodeFuse is 30%, and the adoption rate in generating unit test scenarios can reach 50%.
The "Image to Code" feature released this time mainly serves front-end engineers. In the development of Internet products, after designers draw the design drawings, front-end engineers need to use code to implement the product design drawings, which takes up a lot of development workload.Graphics-to-code can generate code in one click based on the design drawing, which can greatly reduce the coding workload of the development team when developing web pages, applets, and apps.Take a medium-sized web page as an example. If it has 200 lines of code, it will take one person about an hour to generate it. After one-click generation, engineers only need to check and adjust, which greatly reduces the time consumption. This function is developed based on the multimodal technology capabilities of the Ant Lark model.
The head of Ant Group's CodeFuse said that the popularization of AI can not only reduce the work pressure of developers and allow them to devote more energy to more creative work, but its greater significance lies in lowering the threshold for programming and promoting innovation and progress in the software development industry.
