According to an Alibaba Cloud source, "the company's future 20% code will be written by Tongyi Lingma, but programmers will still be the core of R&D, and they will have more time to focus on system design and core business development."
According to reports, under the traditional development model, programmers need to spend a lot of energy every day writing repetitive code, debugging and optimizing, writing code comments and other basic work, which greatly squeezes the time for writing core business code. Within Alibaba Cloud, Tongyi Lingma has served as a code assistant in various development links. Taking API development and testing as an example, Tongyi Lingma can shorten the time taken to manually write tests from dozens of minutes to seconds, saving programmers more than 70% of test code workload. Next, Alibaba Cloud will fully configure Tongyi Lingma plug-ins in internal JetBrains IDEs, Visual Studio Code and other development tools for all employees to use.
At present, Tongyi Lingma has mastered more than 200 programming languages, including Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, C / C++, C#, etc. Tongyi Lingma was jointly developed by Alibaba Cloud and Tongyi Lab, and has been downloaded more than 2 million times.
