Intel aims to deploy AI in 100 million Intel-powered AI PCs by 2025.maximumThe AI PC Developer Program is designed to simplify the adoption of new AI technologies and frameworks at a larger scale. It provides access to a variety of tools, workflows, AI deployment frameworks, and development kits, allowing developers to take full advantage of the new AI technologies in Intel Meteor Lake Core Ultra series processors.up to dateNPU.
In addition, the program also provides centralized resources such as toolkits, documentation and training to help developers make the most of their hardware and software with Meteor Lake (and later) related technologies to improve the performance of artificial intelligence and machine learning applications. These toolkits have been widely used by developers, including Intel's open source OpenVino.
This centralized resource platform is designed to simplify the AI development process, making it more efficient and effective for developers to integrate AI capabilities into their applications. It is designed as a key part of Intel's strategy to not only promote the advancement of AI technology, but also make it more user-friendly and adaptable to various real-world application scenarios.
It is worth noting that this is a development strategy for both software and hardware. Intel not only hopes to attract more software developers to take advantage of its AI resources, but also hopes to attract independent hardware vendors (IHVs). OEMs and system assemblers are already well covered under Microsoft's Windows certification requirements, but Intel also hopes to attract various component suppliers to participate. How can AI be used to improve audio performance? Display performance? Storage performance? These are questions Intel hopes to find the answer to.

Today, with the addition of the AI PC Developer Program, we are expanding our reach to not only engage large independent software vendors, but also small and medium-sized companies and aspiring developers,” said Carla Rodriguez, vice president and general manager of Client Software Ecosystem Enablement at Intel. “Our goal is to drive frictionless experiences by providing a range of tools including our new AI-ready development kit.”
The Intel AI PC Acceleration Program provides 24/7 resources and early reference hardware for independent software vendors and software developers to create and optimize workloads before retail components are launched.
