Samsung says Copilot "can use apps, summarize text messages, and even send text messages directly from your PC." This suggests deeper integration between Copilot and the Phone Link app on Samsung Galaxy smartphones, features that are not currently available in the stable version of Windows 11.
A footnote on Samsung's website also mentions that the new Copilot feature will be available on the "Galaxy Book4 series, available in spring 2024." It's unclear whether Phone Link integration will be an exclusive feature for Galaxy devices, and Microsoft has a history of offering exclusive features for Samsung devices.
Microsoft will hold a special event in the early hours of March 22, 2024, where the company will showcase new Surface devices such as Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6, and announce upgrades to Copilot and Windows 11.
