According to Amazon officials, Rufus has been trained on product catalogs, customer reviews, community Q&A forums, and other online sources, and it can talk to customers and help them at all stages.
Customers can interact with Rufus by typing or stating a question in the Amazon App's search bar. The assistant will appear in a chat interface at the bottom of the screen where users can ask follow-up questions and view suggested related issues.
The assistant is currently in the testing phase with selectedU.S. CustomersIt can be experienced on the Amazon App for Android and iOS platforms. Amazon.com plans to gradually expand the pilot area in the coming weeks.
