Using the ChatGPT shortcut through the widget, users can conveniently access this feature from the home screen. This actually simulates the experience of setting ChatGPT as the default voice assistant on the phone, although this feature is not currently supported.
Meanwhile, in the X article, Carl Pei expressed enthusiasm for the ChatGPT assistant in a reply to a user comment, saying it was "much more responsive than expected." The feature was previously tested in a beta version of the ChatGPT Android app and was discovered by Mishaal Rahman last week.
