NVIDIA has been in China for more than 25 years, and currently, theNVIDIA has nearly 4,000 employees in China.The company has set up branches in Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai.
According to the 21st Century Business Hub, Jen-Hsun Huang said in an interview, "Global 50%'s AI researchersFrom China, which is by far the largest single group, there is no close second placeIt is therefore natural that China will make a huge contribution to AI research. Previously, Jen-Hsun Huang mentioned that NVIDIA's R&D efforts in China don't stop at basic technologies, but work closely with local developers and startups to drive innovation and development in the local tech industry, "We currently have more than 1.5 million CUDA developers in China, and we work with more than 3,000 startups to promote China's technology industry.. "
Jen-Hsun Huang also responded to rumors about TSMC's "group" acquisition of Intel. "I don't know where the news came from, but we weren't invited to join., I'm not saying it's not news, maybe other people have, but I don't know."
Earlier this year, rumors of a breakup of chip-making giant Intel were rampant, with the Wall Street Journal saying that TSMC and Broadcom were both eyeing potential deals that could split Intel in two; Bloomberg also said that TSMC might choose to take over Intel's chip-making business because of U.S. government comments.
Publicly available information shows that in 2024, Intel's manufacturing business sales fell 60%, with an operating loss of $13.4 billion (note: the current exchange rate is about 96.887 billion yuan). The company previously said it plans to split the manufacturing business into independent subsidiaries.
