March 9, 2010 - In recent yearsAI(AI) is growing rapidly globally, and according to a study conducted by DeskTime between January 2023 and December 2024, theChatGPT remains the most widely used AI tool in the global workplace, and its adoption continues to grow. The study covered 97 companies involving 2,385 employees, collecting data through their time-tracking tools.
The results of the study show that as of December 2024, the75.9% of offices worldwide have integrated ChatGPT into their workflows.in,India has the highest adoption rate in the worldIn the U.S., up to 92% of surveyed workplaces reported using the tool. In contrast, ChatGPT adoption in the U.S. is lower than the global average, rising from 68% in 2023 to 72% in 2024.While the growth rate is slower relative to other geographies, the amount of time spent using ChatGPT has increased significantly, with 42.6% of employees reporting more frequent use. Additionally, individual employee adoption of ChatGPT in the U.S. rises from 17% in 2023 to 28.3% in 2024.
DeskTime's research also found that 75% U.S. offices used AI tools, including ChatGPT, in 2024, slightly lower than the previous year's 76%.
