After updating to the latest version of the ChatGPT app, users can enable the ChatGPT Search Extension in the Safari section of the Settings app. Once enabled, search queries entered in the Safari address bar will be directed to ChatGPT Search instead of Google or other default search engines.
Note: There is currently no option to directly set ChatGPT as the preferred search engine, but the extension provides a workaround.
