Generative AI is emerging as a game-changer for organizational advancement, weaving a seamless tapestry across three key areas: Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), generative automation, and knowledge sharing.
IDC report predicts: “By 2026, GenAI Businesses that connect with intelligent document processing will find more ways to use 20% to improve productivity, scalability and provide a better customer experience. "By 2024, business teams using code generation co-pilot will achieve a 70% success rate in streamlining work through task/workflow automation, replacing low-code and IT-supported development. By 2025, GenAI tools will enableadvancedLeadersAbility to report that unstructured data can be used to drive sustainable business benefits by discovering untapped insights and knowledge 20%.
"As GenAI enables personalization, a focus on skills development becomes a necessity and a strategic imperative. At the same time, reimagining the workplace through digital humans and sustainability becomes a key focus for companies," said Dr. Lily Phan, Research Director, Future Works, IDC Asia Pacific.
By 2027, 40% of current job roles in organizations will be redefined or eliminated due to GenAI adoption. Driven by GenAI and ubiquitous automation, enterprises will leverage personalized technical skill development to drive $1 trillion in productivity gains by 2027, the report said.
