OpenAIofChatGPT Since its launch, Enterprise Edition has quickly attracted the attention and registration of 260 organizations in just four months. This growth momentum demonstrates strong interest in OpenAI's flagship product and generates significant revenue expectations for the startup.
Launched last August, ChatGPT Enterprise is designed to provide businesses with enhanced features and privacy protections, including data encryption and a commitment not to use customer information for the development of OpenAI technology, Bloomberg reports.ChatGPT Enterprise's flexible pricing can be customized to fit each company's needs.
In an interview with Bloomberg, Brad Lightcap, COO of OpenAI, said that 260 organizations are currently using ChatGPT Enterprise, which together have more than 150,000 registered users. He explained, "When we launched ChatGPT Enterprise, we started a waiting list, and obviously we needed to process that list incrementally."
In addition to the enterprise version, OpenAI also announced on January 10 a new paid version of ChatGPT for smaller teams, priced at $25 per user per month.Microsoft told the Wall Street Journal last November that they encourage employees and customers to use ChatGPT Enterprise and Bing Chat Enterprise because these enterprise versions offer higher privacy and security guarantees than the consumer versions, ensuring that user data is restricted to company devices and separate from other user data.
Notably, at the launch of the GPT Store last week, OpenAI said the store would offer special features for ChatGPT Enterprise customers, including enhanced administrative controls that would allow them to choose how internal GPTs are shared and which external GPTs are used within their business.
This movement demonstrates the remarkable success of ChatGPT Enterprise in the enterprise market, where OpenAI is continuing to roll out new versions and features to meet different enterprise sizes and needs.
