Technology outlet Windows Latest published a blog post today (February 6) reporting thatMicrosoftis actively expanding Copilot Voice of multilingual support.No longer limited to English, extended support for German, French, Spanish, Hindi and more.
Note: Copilot Voice is a voice interaction feature from Microsoft designed to provide users with a more natural and humanized voice assistant experience.
Instead of typing manually, users on Copilot Voice can talk to the AI assistant by voice. Users can ask questions, give commands, or even interrupt the AI as if they were talking to a friend or colleague, and the AI will continue the conversation.
Copilot Voice offers four different voice options; Wave, Meadow, Grove, and Canyon, which not only sound very natural, but also allow the user to customize the speed of the voice to make it more responsive to personal preferences.
Although Copilot Voice supports multiple languages, the interaction mechanism still requires the user to actively switch. For example, even if the user selects German as the primary language in the Copilot settings, the AI will still respond in English. Only when the user starts a conversation in German will the AI switch to German. According to Microsoft, Copilot Voice is still optimized for English, and support for other languages is in a "limited capacity" state, but will be gradually expanded in the future.
