He mentioned, "Meta is building a more than 2GW data center that is large enough to cover a significant portion of Manhattan." The data center was first announced last December and at 4 million square feet, it is Meta's largest data center project to date. Preliminary work has already begun and construction is expected to continue through 2030.
Zuckerberg emphasized, "This will be a pivotal year for AI. It's a huge endeavor that will drive our core products and business over the next few years, unlock the potential for historic innovation, and solidify America's leadership in technology." He also added that Meta "has the capital to continue investing in the coming years."
