Market Research CompanyIDCA recently released report predicts that generative AI will play a key role in performing various traditional marketing duties in the region. These tasks include search engine optimization, content and website optimization, and customer data analysis.
Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs) in Asia Pacific have begun adopting generative AI in their operational frameworks, with more than a third of CMOs actively integrating this technology into their business activities.
IDC further predicts that by 2028, major enterprises in Asia Pacific will automate 30% consumer journey behaviors from marketing to sales processes through AI generation.
Consumers are expected to increasingly rely on generative AI for product and service discovery, evaluation, and purchasing decisions. IDC predicts that by 2026, more than half of consumers will use generative AI for these purposes.
This shift toward AI-driven marketing operations will change the role of marketers, making them more focused onadvancedSkills such as storytelling, data analysis and cross-team collaboration, the report states.
