Microsoft launches AI Odyssey project to help India train 100,000 developers to master the latest AI technology

Today, global tech giantsMicrosoftLaunched an ambitiousAIThe project, called "AI Odyssey"(AI Odyssey). The aim of the project is to train 100,000 developers in India in the art ofup to dateof AI technologies and tools so that the full potential of AI can be utilized when tackling important projects.

Microsoft noted that with AI revolutionizing the way people work and live, India is in dire need of a skilled workforce that can use AI to solve complex problems and create value. Through the AI Odyssey program, Microsoft will provide developers with the opportunity to build solutions for growth in India and demonstrate their prowess in solving real-world problems.

To participate in the AI Odyssey program, developers simply need to register at aka.ms/AIOdysey and access the learning modules and resources. The program runs for almost a month and is open to all AI enthusiasts in India, irrespective of their level of experience or background.

There are two levels of the program and participants have until January 31, 2024 to complete them.FirstLevel will train participants to use Azure AI services so that they can create and deploy AI solutions for different scenarios. This will give them access to a range of practical resources, code samples and guides to acquire real-world AI skills.

Level 2 requires participants to demonstrate their AI skills by completing online assessments and interactive lab tasks. Afterward, they will receive Microsoft Applied Skills certification, which demonstrates their AI ability to solve real-world problems.

Participants who complete both levels of the challenge will also get a chance to win VIP passes to the Microsoft AI Tour in Bengaluru on February 8, 2024 to experience the revolutionary impact of generative AI first-hand. Microsoft is calling on developers in India to actively participate in shaping the future of AI.
