January 16, 2011 - Elon Musk's xA After launching for iOS, the company's latest online launch is the web version Grok AI chatbots.means that the user does not need to access the X.com You don't even have to have an X account to experience Grok's features.
1AI visits a web-based address (grok.com) where users can get started by simply providing their year of birth, perform real-time information gathering, get answers to questions, and even produce images.
The menu below the input box allows the user to add attachments and supports toggling between "Auto", "Visualize", "Search" and "Model Only" modes to better control Grok's response. "mode to better control Grok's response.
Similar to the iOS app, users can log in to Grok.com without an X account, and after clicking the "Sign In" button, they can choose to connect their X account or sign in via Google or email.
Signing in with the free plan (i.e. not associated with an X Premium account) seems to have some limitations, including 10 images generated every 2 hours, 3 image analysis credits per day and 4 image generation times.
Once you are logged in, the ghost icon in the upper right corner enables "Temporary Mode". Once turned on, a message is displayed below the input box: "This chat is temporary and will not appear in your history or be used to train models. For security reasons, we may safely keep it for up to 30 days."
There is also a chat history link and a simple settings menu next to the ghost icon in the top right corner. At the bottom of the settings menu, users can set appearance preferences such as light, dark or system default.
