During the presentation of FY 2026 budget policies, Petuntain mentioned the issue of internet scams. She said she was almost duped by a high-tech scam. "I want to remind people thatEven I almost fell for it.The issue is very important. Thailand's Ministry of Digital Economy and Society has stepped in to investigate. We must recognize that scams are becoming more and more subtle and sophisticated."

Upon reading this request, she became suspicious and found in the bank account number provided by the fraudsters that the bank account numberIt belongs to a foreign country, not Thailand.She realized that she had been scammed. That's when she realized that she had been scammed.
Petunthan said she had referred the matter to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Economy Prasert Jantaruangthong because the fraudsters did not use the Line app, which is commonly used in Thailand, but a foreign app.
