Dec. 26, "Step Star"The official public website published a blog post yesterday (December 25) announcing the launch of the Step-1X-Medium augmented AI model, theSignificantly improves generation speed, comprehension, detail texture, and authoring functionality, with the goal of becoming a creator's right-hand man.
The upgraded model is able to more accurately understand user commands and generate more tailored image artwork, and adds a new "Figure 1"The richer creation gameplay such as matting and style migration further lowers the creation threshold.
Step-Star had launched the Step-1X series of image generation models in July this year, and the new upgraded version of Step-1X-Medium is launched this time. 1AI cites the original introduction and attaches the relevant improvements as follows:
- Based on the MMDit architecture, Step-1X-Medium's generation speed is increased by more than 30%;
- After targeted training, Step-1X-Medium understands the needs of creators better, with greater comprehension and graphic consistency, and produces images with a more natural detailed texture;
- In order to satisfy more diversified creation needs, we have launched the matting game that supports "Tutu Born Tutu": by uploading an image and giving a simple Prompt command, you can enhance the details of the original image, convert it with one-click style migration, or make small local modifications;
- Step-1X-Medium has further upgraded its ability to create "Chinese style" content, better capturing the charm of oriental faces and presenting a more advanced and delicate image texture;
- Step-1X-Medium supports adding English to Prompt to render English text on the diagram.
