OpenAI The company announced today (December 11) that theIt will be open to all ChatGPT User, Open Canvas Features that focus on improving the efficiency of users' writing and coding projects.
OpenAI says users can currently experience the feature in the web version and the ChatGPT app for Windows 10 and Windows 11, with Mac and mobile platform versions (iOS, Android, mobile web version) coming soon.
Note: OpenAI Canvas is a new interface for ChatGPT to handle writing and coding projects that require editing and revision. This feature was first introduced in October 2024 and is now available to all ChatGPT users.
The Canvas portal is located next to the ChatGPT chatbot and can be accessed by clicking on the button; users can also open a blank Canvas by adding "Use Canvas ......" to the prompt, or by typing in the web version of ChatGPT Users can also open a blank Canvas by adding "Use Canvas" to the prompt, or by typing "Open Canvas" or "Open Code Canvas" in the web version of ChatGPT.
Canvas provides a rich set of shortcuts, such as suggesting edits, adjusting length, updating reading level, adding emoticons, etc. Users can execute Python code directly in the browser, and the output will be displayed in the console, with ChatGPT also providing suggestions for errors and attempting to fix them.
In addition, Canvas also supports customized GPTs to extend its application scenarios; Canvas has added a commenting function so that users can get ChatGPT's feedback and editing suggestions and make modifications to improve the efficiency of human-computer collaboration.
In a subsequent tweet, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said, "canvas is now available to all chatgpt users and can execute code! What's more, it can take your work and give it more style."
