According to foreign media outlet HPCwireIntelIn a presentation at an academic symposium at the SC24 conference, it was revealed that the company will in the future be launching a new product called "Jaguar Shores". AI Chips.
A clip of the presentation slides shared by the foreign press shows that the"Jaguar Shores" is considered the successor to Intel's Gaudi AI gas pedal familyThe next-generation GPU gas pedal is still in between the Jaguar Shores and the currently released Gaudi 3.
According to Intel's previous plans, "Falcon Shores" will be launched in 2025 as a joint successor to the "Ponte Vecchio" datacenter GPU and the Gaudi 3, which corresponds to the "next-generation GPU gas pedal" in the diagram above. From this perspective "Jaguar Shores" should be the successor to "Falcon Shores.", both also use the same naming format (note: i.e. Animal + Shores).
In an August 2023 earnings call, Intel CEO Pat Kissinger mentioned that the company is working on an AI supercomputing chip tentatively named "Falcon Shores 2" for a 2026 launch. The exact relationship between "Jaguar Shores" and "Falcon Shores 2" cannot be confirmed at this time.
