As reported by MSPOWERUSER today, while this change seems minor in the Chrome Canary version, usually such a text tweak might beHeralding a larger functional changeEnhanced Protection Mode. When Enhanced Protected Mode is turned on, Chrome not only alerts you to unrecognized dangerous websites, it also scans deeper for suspicious downloads while keeping browsing speeds unaffected.
However, unlike the standard protection mode, activation of the enhanced protection mode may also send samples of the website address and activity data to Google for "security checks".
