China Academy of Information and Communication Research ("China ICT") withTencent Signed on 12 OctoberArtificial Intelligence Business Cooperation Agreement.
The signing of this cooperation agreement is aimed at bringing together and integrating the advantageous resources of both parties, on the basis of resource sharing and mutual benefit and win-win situation, and centering onArtificial Intelligence Frontier Modeling, Hard and Soft Collaboration, Data Resources, Artificial Intelligence +, Security Governance, International CooperationIt will carry out all-round cooperation in technical innovation, standard development, assessment and evaluation, application demonstration, industrialization and promotion, and consultation and exchange.
Jiang Jie, vice president of Tencent Group, revealed that Tencent will take the signing of this cooperation as an opportunity to carry out more in-depth cooperation with the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology in the areas of artificial intelligence technology standards, industrial research, large model benchmarking, smart computing clusters, and large model application landing.
Tencent released the hybrid big model in September 2023, marking the beginning of Tencent's full embrace of big models. In July this year, Jiang Jie revealed that the hybrid big model is actively deploying technologies from multi-modal to full-modal, and users will soon be able to experience it in the Tencent Yuanbao App, Tencent's internal business and scenarios, and at the same time, it will be open to external applications through the Tencent Cloud.
At the 2024 Tencent Global Digital Ecosystem Conference in September this year, Tencent officially released the next-generation big model, Tencent Mixed Element Turbo, which adopts the MoE architecture and improves the reasoning efficiency by 100% and reduces the reasoning cost by 50% compared with the previous generation of products.
