Timing Node:
- At 10:31 p.m. on September 24, the "one-arrow, three-star" National Star Aerospace was successfully launched in Haiyang, Shandong Province.
- At 2046 hours on September 25, the test team uploaded the AI task to the satellite in the form of a remote command from the ground station;
- At 2111 hours on September 25, the satellite successfully launched and ran the AI big model in the sky over the northern Atlantic Ocean through the on-board high-performance arithmetic payload, and the process and results of the on-orbit operation of the AI big model in space were displayed in real time through the satellite's own on-orbit visualization and evidence system - the "Star Screen" system;
- At 2220 hours on September 25, the test team received complete data from the ground station for the first test.
From September 25th to October 5th.A total of 13 AI large model in-orbit operational experiments were performed.The mission was successful, covering different temperature conditions and various types of inference questions and answers, and it successfully accomplished the predetermined goals of the AI large model technology verification for satellite operation in orbit.
The success of the world's first satellite in-orbit AI large model technology validation marks a solid step forward in promoting the development of "space AI", according to the official statement of Guoxing Aerospace.The "star-compute" network will be built for the subsequent construction of an autonomous and controllable "star-computing plan".In addition, we will build up technology for "sky counting" and the next step of "earth counting", so that mankind can go farther in space.
