OpenAI Announcing the launch of Brand New Writing,Coding Tools Canvas, which is a new interface for a project written and coded in collaboration with ChatGPT, goes beyond simple chat.
From the official introduction, we learned that ChatGPT Canvas provides a better understanding of the context of a task, and users can highlight specific sections to indicate exactly what they want ChatGPT to focus on. Users can also directly edit text or code thatRequires ChatGPT to adjust write lengths, debug code, and perform other operations quicklyand provides a back button to restore a previous version of the work.
Writing features include:
- Suggested Edit: ChatGPT provides suggestions and feedback.
- Adjust Article Length: Edit the document length to shorter or longer.
- CHANGING READING LEVELS: Adjusting reading levels from kindergarten through graduate school.
- Add final touches: check for grammar, clarity and consistency.
- Add Emoticons: Add relevant emoticons to emphasize and add color
Coding features include:
- Review code: ChatGPT provides inline suggestions to improve code.
- Add logging: Insert print statements to help debugging and understanding code.
- Add comments: Add comments to the code to make it easier to understand.
- Fix bugs: Detect and rewrite problematic code to resolve errors.
- Porting to other languages: Translate code to JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, C++ or PHP.
