Perplexity's Discover Daily is based on its Discover feed, which contains top stories, updates and more from leading news publications.
Copilot Daily
had reported on September 28 that Microsoft was planning to expand Copilot to create personalized virtualanchorwhich broadcasts relevant news and dynamic information of interest to users.And the service is called Copilot Daily.
Copilot Daily is a 100% AI-generated news podcast that focuses on calling in content from mainstream media outlets such as Reuters, as well as popular news headlines from around the web, with 4 podcasting voices - Meadow, Wave, Grove and Canyon.
Each episode is 3-4 minutes long and will start at 30:00 (i.e., 30 minutes and 0 seconds), with the total time displayed on the far right side of the progress bar.
The interface has bubbles that represent different news segments, each playing in sequence. For example, one bubble might start at 30:00 and disappear at the end of the audio for that story. Then, the next news bubble might start at 30:25 and last four minutes overall.
There are also playback controls on top, and buttons to the left and right of the playback button allow you to move forward or backward through the audio, jumping to previous or subsequent stories.
