Notably, VecML has also recently invited former Yahoo and Ebay chief scientists, former Walmart vice presidents, and former Microsoft technology executives to participate in the VecML conference. Dr. Jan PedersenHe is the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of VecML.
VecML hopes to be the next generation of infrastructure and edge computing platform for end-side AI, according to the report.Enabling end-side devices to perform more difficult large model computations as well.
Currently, VecML has launched a set of end-side AI infrastructure and edge computing platform, which can be regarded as a "toolbox" for deploying and developing end-side AI models.Enterprise customers can deploy and run end-side AI through this platform.
Checking public information, Li Ping was a distinguished scientist at Microsoft (LinkedIn) before starting his own business. Prior to joining Microsoft, Li Ping was the Chief Architect (T11) and Vice President of Baidu Research Institute, and directly managed the Baidu Cognitive Computing Lab (CCL), which has achieved results, including ultra-large-scale deep learning GPU platforms, multi-modal vector retrieval and generation, reinforcement learning, knowledge mapping and other generative AI core technologies.
