According to the Power On newsletter, the use of Apple Intelligence completely rebuilt Siri It may be released to users sooner than we initially thought. It may not be the full experience, but we may start to see some features roll out earlier.
appleThe all-new Siri was announced at WWDC24 in June, and we expect it to bring some significant new features.Siri should be able to better understand voice errors, be able to integrate with other apps, understand context, and see what's currently on the screen. All of these features have the potential to mold Siri into a true personal assistant.
Mark Gurman has provided some additional details about the release schedule for Apple Intelligence features, including an interesting new detail. Some of the new Siri features may roll out in iOS 18.3 instead of the previously expected iOS 18.4. This means that we may start seeing an improved Siri experience as early as January, since that's usually when iOS x.3 is released, not sometime in March.
Gurman also provided some details about the development timeline and release dates for other iOS18-related releases: the
* iOS 18.1 will be completed internally this week and released in mid-October
* iOS 18.2 should be done internally in early November and released in December
* iOS 18.3 should be done internally by the end of the year and released next January
* iOS 18.4 should be done internally by early February and released in March
