Introduction to Vid2DensePose
Official introduction:Vid2DensePose It is a powerful tool designed to apply DensePose models to videos, generating detailed "partial index" visualizations for each frame. This tool is particularly useful for enhancing animations, especially in combination with MagicAnimate to achieve time-consistent human image animations. In short, it is a project tailored to work with MagicAnimate, which is really thoughtful!
I also did a quick search of the DensePose model, which is an open-source model from Meta that can distinguish video content. Meta is grateful to Rise for this.

As usual, it is troublesome for everyone to deploy locally by themselves. We have prepared an offline integration package for everyone. Follow the official account and reply "Vid2DensePose", download it to your local computer and unzip it for use.
Please download and unzip it locally.
①Double-click "One-click start-Vid2DensePose.exe”.
② After double-clicking to start the program, a command prompt window will open and the project will run automatically. After loading successfully, copy the following URL and open it in the browser "http://127.0.0.1:7860/". Remember to pay attention to it so you don't get lost. There will be more cool AI projects to share later~
③After opening the link, you can see the main interface of Vid2DensePose. As a fan favorite, the interface has been translated into Chinese for everyone:
It is very easy to use, just two steps to get started and start playing happily right away:
- Upload video: Click to upload the reference video you want to make skeletal animation
- Click to generate: Click the submit button and wait.
The project runs very quickly, and even for very long videos, you can quickly get skeletal animation. I tested that it only takes about 10 minutes to generate a 1-minute video!
