Early this morning.appleThe company officially unveiled the iPhone 16 series at its much-anticipated fall event, while highlighting its latest artificial intelligence technology - theApple Intelligence.
At the conference, Apple announced that it will make heavy upgrades to the Chinese version of the iPhone, and the Chinese version of Apple Intelligence is expected to go live next year.
Apple Intelligence, which was originally unveiled at WWDC2024, utilizes generative AI macromodels that are able to provide users with short summaries of lectures or long-running content in a matter of seconds. Additionally, the technology supports intelligent writing capabilities that can proofread a user's text to ensure proper tone and wording, a tool that can be used in virtually any writing scenario, including third-party apps.
In terms of Siri upgrades, Apple has combined the capabilities of ChatGPT to enable Siri to more accurately understand user intent and provide smarter responses when dealing with complex commands. This upgrade will greatly enhance the user experience and make Siri significantly more competitive in the intelligent assistant space.
Apple also revealed that Apple Intelligence will first be tested in the U.S. English version, and plans to launch a localized English version in December this year. Subsequently, the Chinese, French, Japanese and Spanish versions will be officially launched next year, when the Chinese version of the iPhone users will be able to experience a comprehensive upgrade of Apple's AI features.
