Musk posted on X on Monday that the California bill, SB 1047, "should pass," with Musk writing, "It was a tough decision and may be frustrating for some, but all things considered, I think California should pass SB 1047 AI Safety Act.20 For years, I have have been an advocate for regulating AI, just as we regulate any product/technology that is potentially risky to the public."
