The arrest was made after the Indian River County Sheriff's Office received multiple reports that McCorkle had posted child pornography images made using an AI image generator on the social app Kik. The arrest was part of an operation by the county to combat child pornography crimes, but the way McCorkle used generative artificial intelligence to commit crimes was shocking.
