US-based AI startups OpenAI right Mac Version ChatGPT The app has been updated to provide side-by-side windows, giving users a more convenient multitasking experience.
Previously, when users pressed the Option + Space key combination on the keyboard, a text input box similar to Apple's Spotlight would appear to interact with ChatGPT. Users can enter text or upload files to ChatGPT through this text input prompt in any application, but ChatGPT will only become the main window when the user chooses to return.
Now, pressing the Option + Space key combination will not only bring up the same text box, but will also create a mini ChatGPT window that is displayed side by side with the application you are using. This mini window can be expanded to full screen, but it is not full screen by default. This means that on smaller monitors, users can reduce the trouble of window switching and use multiple applications at the same time more easily.
Additionally, OpenAI recently confirmed that it is working on a text watermarking method for ChatGPT-generated content following a Wall Street Journal report. According to the US-based AI company, its text watermarking method is accurate and “effective even in the face of local tampering, such as rewriting, but less effective in the face of global tampering”. However, the method is currently on hold due to concerns that it would stigmatize non-native English speakers using AI as a useful writing tool.
