Meta launched AI Studio on Monday, a tool that allows American creators to build their own AI chatbots. According to Meta's official statement,The company seems to prefer this user-generated approach rather than the carefully craftedStar Robot.
Meta spokeswoman Liz Sweeney said users will no longer be able to interact with AI characters based on celebrities. The company has learned a lot from developing these robots and Meta AI, and how people use AI to connect and create.AI Studio is an evolution of this direction, providing space for everyone, including individuals, creators and celebrities, to create their own AI.
Initially, Meta launched AI chatbots for celebrities including Charli D'Amelio, Dwyane Wade, Paris Hilton, and planned to add more, such as Bear Grylls, Chloe Kim, and Josh Richards. But Meta reportedly did not implement this plan. Earlier, it was reported that Meta had paid millions of dollars to some celebrities for their image rights.
